Occasionally I will get an avi file that when I try to open (using VLC) displays "repair avi index." I Googled for an answer and attempted several "fixes" but the repair was only for about 30 sec of a much longer video.
Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
See above. I even tried using HandBrake but, again, I only got about 30 of repaired file. VLC will do the repair, but it is usable only for the current session...it won't save the corrected file.
