Just installed Handbrake and if I choose add all to queue with a dvd in the dvd drive it just saves as MKV even though MP4 is chosen as the output format.
I am using Windows 10 64 bit with all the updates Microsoft has offered me automatically.
Why would this happen, please?

When doing "batch add", the settings in the SAVED preset are used.
After you changed the output to MP4, did you save the preset?

I'm not sure I even changed it to MP4 if I'm honest. I thought it said that when it opened. Never mind. Would have been a nicer response if you had explained how to make a preset or something though.
