Is it possible to force handbrake to use the external gpu instead of the T2 chip under videotoobox?
I use a Mac Mini connects to a AMD vega 64 ..
HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.2.0
Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Mac OS 10.14.3
Force use the external gpu instead of the T2 chip ?

You can't.
If you grab a nightly build, it should encode fine on the T2. https://handbrake.fr/nightly.php
We don't have any real data yet on the T2, but I'd hope it could do better than the AMD part.
