Please help! My boss was compressing videos on her laptop and she accidentally over compressed a file and saved it over the original video. Now the video is very poor quality and we need to show it to our manager VERY SOON.
The camera was been cleared. Is there any way of uncompressing the compressed file? Or, does anyone know a way of using a different program, like Premiere to revive the video? Can we find the original video on the hard drive even if it has been saved over? THAANK YOU IN ADAVNCE!

It sounds like what's on the computer is toast. Your best bet is to use recovery software like PhotoRec on the camera's memory card.
