I have handbrake on a Mac. I was wondering why I can't get handbrake to auto name the output files exactly like the source files. I went into preferences and changed the Output Files Format to be Source. Here is what happens:
Example:
The source file is called:
Pans Labyrinth (2006).iso
The output will automatically name it:
Pans Labyrinth D1.m4v
I want the output file to be exactly the same as the source file except the file extension of course. No matter what options I use for the format settings, it does not solve this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? I remember years ago that it automatically did this for me without me having to change any settings and it was fantastic until they did an update and now I have to manually change the file names with every movie and it's a real pain. Thanks for your help.

Re: Auto Naming Issue
It's using the volume name, not the file name from the looks. You'd need to rename this on the ISO before HandBrake would pick it up.
