Hi There
I was used to comfortably set the Apple TV 2 preset to convert my videos
Seeing that it's now in the "legacy" presets, I suppose there os a better preste by now, still compatible with Apple TV2, and my iMac 2017?
Any advice on that would be very appreciated - knowing I'm not exactly an expert in those things...

Try the Apple 720 HD preset.

Or even the corresponding 1080p preset, it'll also work with all AppleTVs from version 2 onwards. But not the 1080p60 preset, you need the AppleTV 4K for 60fps, IIRC.
