Trouble Adding Multiple Files to the Queue

Post by eddalex »

Description of problem or question:New user: when I try to add multiple files to the queue, I get as far as the "Save As" box and can't get any farther because it wants a file name. I've tried every wild card I can think of and nothing works. What do I put in the "Save As" box to make it automatically name the files.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):Ver. 1.1.1

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):Windows 10 Pro Ver. 1803

The destination is for 1 file only. Each file is represented a a tile.

Select title
Configure Job, including destination
Add to queue
Repeat.

Thanks for the response but I'm still having problems. That's what happens when your mind gets old!

What are your settings on Tools->Preferences->Output Files for Automatic File Naming?

If you haven't set that up, batch-add will not work well, if at all.
