inconsistent export dimensions

Post by maQ2018 »

Description of problem or question:

I'm making 1080p h264 archival quality files from master quicktime files that are either 1080p or 4k. I have now encoded roughly 85 of these using my one preset, which lists both storage and display size at 1920x1080. However, I am getting a mix of:

1080p exports (what I want)
4k exports (not what I want)
720p exports (really weird, as the masters are 1080p verified)

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.1.0

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

10.13.4

Your source and output are 1080.

Do you have a log of one that has the incorrect output?

And when you created the preset, did you tell handbrake to include the output geometry in the preset?

If you do not, the default is to keep the source dimensions.
