Decoding errors. Could be with the current playback, or could be with the decoding that was used before an encode. Does the source video have the same problem?

What mduell said, and also, please provide the encode log.

I am currently not home but I updated my Handbrake before I left from 1.00 to 1.02. I had the same movie encoding with the same presets when I left and just checked it via Plex and there is no tearing.
I will get a log for you guys when I get home.

My videos only do that when the source has been corrupted or not processed correctly before ever hitting handbrake.

So I encoded a second video and it came out perfect after I updated HandBrake, but here are the logs of the 1.00 attempt at encoding "Don't Breathe".

Does the issue always occur in the same spot in the output, or is it random?

Yes it was always in the same spot, but after updating handbrake the problem is gone.Rodeo wrote:Does the issue always occur in the same spot in the output, or is it random?

Fair enough. Feel free to post a new, updated log if it happens again.
