Subtitles with "foreign" language only

Once I got it work, that subtitles are showed only, when the language is not the default language. But the settings below don't work. Please help me and tell me what is wrong.

On the "Subtitle Defaults" tab, you have set "Selection Behavior" to "None". This means no subtitles will be added to your subtitle list by default.

I set it to "First track matching selected languages" as well as ""All tracks matching selected languages" and don't see subtitles. Did I forget anything? The source shows subtitles, when I check this. The words are spoken in Spanish at the beginning, while the audio is set to German.

I think I found, what I did wrong. I don't have to set German as subtitle, but "Foreign audio search". I am checking if it works at the moment, subtitles are shown, but I have to wait if no subtitles are shown too, if the actors speak German.
Nevertheless it is confusing to see "pass" at the bottom with crf. Compare Thread "Random, not reproduceable bug (2 pass encoding instead of crf)" - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=31211

Unfortunately I see German subtitles too, when the actors speak German, so German subtitles are shown permanently.

Edit: Now I am totally confused, all the subtitles vanished. I have to pay attention, that the player is not fooling me. It seems to be correct IMHO, that I cannot choose subtitles, when I use "burn in". I will do tests and come back then.
