Hello,

OpenCL scaling is not working, encode stops immediately.
There's a workaround : disable openCL =)

I think OpenCL has been considered a lost cause, so I don't know if this would be fixed, or OpenCL code just removed.

The CL code has a significant re-work so it does actually help a bit now. About 5~6% on downscaling (on top of the speedup you get by using bicubic vs lanczos). At some point I want to add bucubic as an option for software too.


We don't have any Nvidia hardware to test but I can say it does work on AMD hardware. Nothing in the logs to indicate what the problem might be. I wouldn't expect any real gain since your not really doing any reasonable downscale there. Infact, on that CPU, it may well be slower.

The log says OpenCL support is no, yet that the GPU is being used and OpenCL scaling enabled. Seems like a configuration-related issue?

Hmm, wonder if there is a problem with those messages. Normally that means openCL scaling would just fallback to normal software scaling since it can't be used for that type of input file.
