Smart Folder as Source
I've several drives containing various video types in specific folders such as series, seasons etc some mkv, avi, mp4 etc. Now, I want to encode every ".avi" on the drive into mp4. Currently I think that removing all the avi's from the drive and placing in a folder to be used as a source for a batch encode, then figuring out where everything is meant to be returned after the encode is the only way to achieve this. Handbrake could be a little be more useful at this basic level and allow the ability to use a "Smart Folder" (Saved Search) as the source. In the Finder the user selects the drive, searches for ".avi" saves the Search to be selected as the Video Source to be scanned and added to the Queue, with the ability to allow the output to be saved back in the source directory.
