Raptor RAID 0 vs other slower drives?

Based on some of your speed results I think I have to count my blessings as I have an older P4 2.6g cpu w hyperthreading with 1 gig of ram operating at 533mhz and my average fps on an atv preset to mp4/aac is 85.85...muxing is a diff story

Am I seeing these speed results because of the 10,000 rpm raid? Does HB take advantage of the aforementioned?

No, Hard drive speed will have very little affect on encode speed.
