I have to admit, MF B1 is faster on my iBook than HB 0.7.0 was. The sad part is that the same settings result in 55-100FPS on my Quad, depending on the DVD itself.

I'm a little new to this, so if my questions sound dumb, I'm sorry.
Is there any way to increase the fps that I am currently ripping at? I am using MediaFork. Would buying an external CD drive help? Does the rate at which it rips depend on the processor? I'd appreciate any help I can get.
