I am looking to upgrade to a newer CPU, RAM and a Mobo. I have come to these 3 and would like opinions if these are sufficient.

Sufficient for what? HD with slow settings will be slow. DVD with fast settings will be OK.

Re: Can these specs perform HEVC encoding well
I mean sufficient "better" performing than my previous CPU plus room to watch Twitch streams with no lag or slowdowns if at all possible. I will be encoding in slow. I have also been thinking about going with the AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz CPU with this RAM HyperX Fury White Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model HX318C10FWK2/16 instead of buying another mobo/switching to intel to cut down on price. The total for these 2 items and the CoolerMaster evo 212 totals to $287.97.

There is a benchmarking forum below the support forums.
That's where you need to post, not in the "General" area.

Yes, a quad core haswell is going to kick the [Censored] out of the phenom.
8350 is a power-hungry turd, get the Xeon.

Re: Can these specs perform HEVC encoding well
Power hungry as in use more PSU power? If that is the case wouldn't a 1000 watt PSU tame its hunger for power?
Re: Can these specs perform HEVC encoding well
Sure the PSU is fine, still stresses many mobo power delivery, and needs a higher performance cooler.
