Apple TV encoding benchmarks

I'm looking to build a CPU in the next few days. I always encode HD mkv files to the Apple TV 3 settings. I'm looking at i5, i7, Amd FX, and Amd apu. Can anyone give me some times/benchmarks on how long it takes them to encode and what ur encoding?
