MacBook 2 GH Core Due

On a MacBook 2 GHz Core due machine with 1 GB of ram,

h.264
640x272
kbps 1450
2-pass encoding

doing The Bourne Identity dvd give me 24-27 fps. So roughly real time.

I'm quite impressed really. I remember when a DVD rip could take as long as 12 hours for just one pass and the quality wasn't all that good. Technology has come a long way in just a few years.

My G4 933 1GB of Ram takes about 9-11 hours to do a 2 hour DVD
3-4 fps. 1300/192
