Currently at 59% encoded, avg FPS: 51.3, ETA 19 minutes.

hey i am right on the brink of whether to buy a quad core - is there any way you could do 5 minutes of a run with it set to the ipod settings at 1500kbps abr? Basically you have very close to the sutup i am thinkin of getting... greatly appreciated.

Sorry for taking so long, I didn't realize there was a response to this thread. I'll do that encode either tonight or tomorrow to let you know - got a few others queued atm.

The iPod preset does not (since I'm not using an SVN build) use as much CPU as it should (I don't have the thread on hand). So I'm only getting 35fps average (Marvin's Room, 1.33:1, iPod preset, ABR changed to 1500).
