Is 12hours of encoding time about right for this movie?

First time using HandBrake and I thought I'd see if this performance is about what to expect or if changes can be made. Encoding took about 12 hours. Do I just need a faster processor or more cores?

Source video: 22GB 1920x1080 23.97FPS VC-1/AC3 in an MKV container. Media Info reports 27Mbps bit rate.

Target video: 8GB 1920x1080 23.97FPS x264/AAC 2 ch stereo in MKV container. Media Info reports 11Mbps bit rate.

Faster Processor, More cores. Thats what you need.

it's HD so yet, 12hrs is about right.
