AppleTV Encoding Settings with HD Sign on ATV

Hi Everbody,

on some movie on my appeltv after the movie appears a HD Sign.

If I open an mkv in Quicktime and export the the movie with quicktime with encoding the video and then I import the file in itunes. I had to convert the mp4 with the encoding possibility of itunes.

It is possible that itunes marks the file and on atv it appears with the HD sign?
It is also possible to convert an mkv with handbrake so the converted mkv->m4v gets also the HD sign on ATV

Any help is appreciated

Anything with a PAR-adjusted horizontal resolution in excess of 1000 pixels or vertical resolution in excess of 576 pixels will be flagged as HD on the ATV.
