Video_TS or .ISO

Post by x166532x »

Has anyone noticed quality or time differences when encoding from a Video_TS source versus a .ISO file?

ISO = Ripped DVD. There won't be any quality difference if same settings are used.

How about time differences - quicker from either, or both the same?

Well, there may be a tiny difference due to loopback filesystem overheads with the .iso, but it would be insignificant.
