Audio volume

Post by tpaxton » Fri Mar 09, 2007 2:55 am

One thing I've noticed is that when I rip a movie and play it on my iPod, the volume seems lower than with movies I've purchased using iTunes. Is there a way to raise the volume of the ripped movie to match with those I've purchased? I have been able to set the volume adjustment in iTunes for the videos, but those settings don't seem to carry over to my iPod.

Have you set the volume for movies already on your iPod via iTunes? I have had success with this. If you change the volume in iTunes but not for the file on the iPod then you have to re-synch it to the iPod.

I thought I had set them in iTunes and then resync'd. I will mess around with that a little more and see if I can come up with anything. Thanks!

I just edit the files directly on my iPod.
