New System

I use a 7700K and at 4K 10 BIT HEVC, the CPU is slowly in the limits. I do not want to change my attitudes. For a 4K Blu Ray I need 30 hours. The quality is good. That's why I do not use Quick Sync. So, I want to buy a new system especially for handbrake. It would be nice if I could combine everything in one. But I think that is not possible. I tested 32 Core Threadripper and it was too slow. What else is there. I reach 1-5 FPS at 4K 10 BIT. 2PASS encoding. (7700K) and 8-15 FPS with a Thread Ripper 32 core test system. I want more.

important: small note on the edge. can you please post so leave. I made a post, the error or reason why I banned permanent, piraterie link in the log and surname was obviously not good. But I'm concerned about topic. Please do not delete. Thank you... everything was changed. but my post was deleted anyway. This time 100 PERCENTAGE without reason. That's why I would be glad. if you stay fair.

The answer is still i9-9990XE (or 9980XE if you can't get one).

The Core i9-9980XE did every tricky test in the left test. But for top marks it was not enough. AMD's 2990WX was always a tad quicker in the exams (tempo comparison above) and thus continues to be the measure of all things. And sure, AMD's 2990WX is anything but a bargain at 1,850 euros, but it's at least 350 euros cheaper than Intel's top model.

On top of that, the threadripper is more economical: The test system with the AMD CPU needed 379 watts under full load, the Intel PC 393 watts - so the need for a sufficiently sized power supply.

Since I have already tested 32 cores 2990WX, and with my settings only got a maximum of 15 FPS, the intel can not be much faster at handbrake.

Or am I wrong. Does anyone have Intel processor 9980XE and can test?

EDIT. Core i9-9990XE is very interesting because of clock. But the CPU does not exist yet? I can not find them in my shop. But have read that has 5 Ghz. and is limited? So not buyable. Where can I buy these. Can someone benchmark this.
