Better to use the Apple 1080p60 Surround preset with E-AC3?

Now that E-AC3 is available with HandBrake 1.2.0, I have a question about best practices using the "Apple 1080p60 Surround" preset (I have an ATV 4K). As an example, when I use HandBrake to convert a MKV containing a DTS-HD MA (5.1) soundtrack, the preset mentioned uses AC3 as a codec to mixdown to 5.1 channels. Am I correct in saying that using E-AC3 as a codec for this preset would be the better choice? If so, at what bit rate?

All this is assuming that my MKV contains a proper DTS-HD MA track (the MKV is created by MakeMKV from a blu-ray) and that HandBrake is using the proper DTS-HD MA stream (and not the DTS core)...

Thanks for your advice!
