PSP codec

Post by irighti007 »

Greetings all, I wanted to know if there is a way to import the PSP codec from version 0.9.3
to any of the newer upgrades so that I can keep all my encoding to a single version of HB.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

The answer to your question as asked is certainly no, but I have no idea what you are calling the "PSP codec".

Searching for "using handbrake with PSP" comes up with a number articles of various vintages. This one seems to be one of the more recent:

It gives some of the individual x264 options the author used to make the output files compatible with the PSP. While the screen shots aren't going to be the same as 0.10, it should be a start for creating your own preset.

Also, if you take a look at the preset file, it might be in a nearly readable format that you could adapt to the current version of Handbrake.
