Cropping/Stretching to fit screen (16:9 to 4:3) possible?

Hi All,

I have the Matrix DVD in letterbox Widescreen format. I am trying to encode the movie to fill the entire ipod screen. Using the default options, the movie is encoded and plays on the ipod with the black bars at the top and the bottom. I turned off Widescreen setting in my iPod.

Is there anyway to remove the bars, crop,etc. with handbrake. I set the crop to "Manual" with 0's and that didn't do the trick.

Suggestions are welcome.!!!

You have to crop the sides of until the resolution has an aspect ration of 4:3. (Width divided by 4 and height divided by 3, same number)
