Hello,
Lately using both instant handbrake and the current version of handbrake for OS 10.4 I have run into a problem . Several of the movies I have tried to convert for my iPod do the following:
-Full movie rips, but there are bits of other parts of the dvd (behind the scenes, outtakes) that show up in the video. Meanwhile the audio is fine.
-Handbrake selects the longest track length (i.e. 1hr 30min) but when it converts, only 10-30 seconds are converted. Basically the intro animations show up and then it is over.
The movies I have had this issue with so far (yes I own these movies) are:
Happy Feet
Casion Royale
Monster House
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any workarounds? Any help?

My guess is that these movies are copy protected beyond the usual CSS. I'm pretty sure Casino Royale uses ArcCos as it's a Sony release. What you want to try is rip the movies with MacTheRipper first then use HB on the resulting Video_TS folder. Handbrake is a great h.264 encoder, but it's just a so-so DVD ripper. It's fooled by many of the newest DVD protection mechanisms.
