6 channel discrete plus stereo ?

Hi,

if I choose for audio encoding 6 channel discrete (if possible), do I have for any (compatibility?) reason have to add additionally a second downmix to stereo channel?
I do not want to add another 160kbits/s to the file, if not neccessary.

That completely depends on what your playback device(s) require.

In the grand scheme of things, an additional 160kbps soundtrack isn't going to fill your hard drive anytime soon.
