Can Handbrake convert a 3D (interleaved) MKV file into a non-interleaved anaglyph 3D file?

Post by mbmast »

Using MakeMKV, I rip the Blu Ray disk of It Came From Outer Space, which contains both a 2D and 3D version. One of the resulting MKV files (the larger one) contains the 3D version of the movie as an interleaved file.

Here are the details:

Code: Select all

Video
ID : 1
ID in the original source medium : 4113 (0x1011)
Format : AVC

MultiView_Count : 2
MultiView_Layout : Both Eyes laced in one block (right eye first)
Format settings : CABAC / 3 Ref Frames

Is it possible with Handbrake to convert this video into a single, non-interleaved anaglyph video file?

Why, if you already have the 2D too?

Why? Because the 2D file is 2D. I am trying to produce a version of the 3D file that is watchable on a standard TV with the use of Red/Cyan glasses.
