Description of problem or question:
My MKV file has two video streams; MediaInfo shows these:
1. 1280*534p English AVC @ 23.976 fps, 4081 kbps - Stream size: 2.51 GiB (88%)
2. 640*266p V_QUICKTIME @ 0.001 fps, 1931 bps - Stream size: 1.29 MiB (0%)
It plays just find in VLC Player. However, when I switch the stream from Track 1 to 2, an error says, "This Codec Is Not Supported". What exactly is this 2nd video stream for?
What is this V_QUICKTIME 2nd video stream in my MKV file for?

That's a track stored with the QuickTime codec mapping. It's probably a chapters preview track that was remuxed from a mp4 file.
HandBrake does not generate such MKV file.

Sorry, I should have stated clearer, a MKV file I have, which I did not encode myself, had that info. I used MediaInfo software to check out the stream info.
Oh okay, thanks.
