This is not a valid destination directory - err msg

Description of problem or question:
Ive never had a problem with using handbrake but now all of a sudden I'm getting this error message that the destination isnt valid. Because of this it wont allow me to compress my video.

Can you tell me why this is happening?



Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):




HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
I'm using version 1.2.2



Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):




HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Without logs, we're handicapped in what we can suggest. You didn't even mention your operating system, or what you've changed recently. Things like adding/removing drives or installing an operating system update that changes permissions can all affect what is and isn't a "valid location".

Version 1.2.2 is rather old; the 1.3.x series replaced it.
