Converting 4K SDR to HDR video

Guys, how do I really just convert SDR to HDR for movies & TV series in 4K? Is there a way for me to do that while it’a gonna work itself to get processed and done?

Cannot be done. You can do HDR to SDR (not necessarily with HandBrake), but you cannot add color information that isn't there in the first place (SDR -> HDR), with any software.

You can't do that. You certainly can't do that with HB.

Maybe some app has a filter to make video look HDRish from SDR sources, but it's "fake".

OK. Well you guys, then I made the best possible settings for keeping HDR in 4K with H265 10-bit with MP4 video format on it for keeping the quality with 1 movie I did like that. It just works well for me
