Is there much difference in activating this option or not activating it?

I always reduce the weight of 1080 videos that weigh more than 5gb to 1gb. Is it necessary to apply that option or is it for videos in 4k or higher resolution?

If you are not doing bit rate limiting, the option has zero effect.

Yes I know. I activate that option in 1080p videos that has a bitrate of 25mb per second and I limit it to 2mb per second. I wanted to know if it is necessary to activate both passes, or it is not necessary for 1080p videos? That is, if that option is intended for 4k videos or higher resolution.

Wow is exactly the answer I was looking for. I use constant quality. That is, it is not necessary to activate the 2-pass option?
