Won't encode in proven settings

Description of problem or question:


I've been ripping my Band of Brothers DVD set to watch on the laptop. I encoded the first 4 discs just fine, ripping to HQ576p25 (UK) ..but the last disc throws errors and won't rip at all...UNLESS... I set it rip at Fast1080p30 ?
