Hello,
How about a Handbrake app to follow the progress of our encodings from whereever we are ? It could also allow us to stop an encoding remotely.
Thanks.
Cédric.

Wait for v1.4 to come out... The process control enhancement may provide the tools you need to create your own.

It actually won't. It's deliberately locked down for security reasons.
Exposing HandBrake off-network isn't wise. It's not a security hardened application and would pose too much risk so it's unlikely to see much if anything in the way of remote connectivity.

If it only accepts traffic from 127.0.0.1, a user could still build an on-machine proxy for the rest of the world. That's on them.

That's also locked out with a token I'm afraid, so it'll just return an error unless you memory scan for the token.
