Description of problem or question:

Only portions of the DVD get recorded onto hard drives. Seems to stop at chapter points. Is there a way to override for a straight "crash dub?"

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Keep trying to dub over, but seems to cut out early.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

Whatever the new one is.

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Dell Latititude laptop

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

THE CODE IS TOO LONG AND BLOCKS ME FROM POSTING THIS NOTE, WHICH I'VE TRIED REPEATEDLY TO DO.

Handbrake is not intended or equipped to deal with commercial DVDs or BDs, despite what a lot of websites promise. It does not deal with encryption. While it is possible to add decryption using third-party libraries, it is not supported by the handbrake team, and has not been for over a decade.

If a website recommends handbrake for ripping disks, consider just how "up to date" that websites other recommendations might be.
