Remove motion artifacts

Post by most » Fri Jul 26, 2019 7:04 am

Description of problem or question:
How do I remove these motion artifacts?
I've been mixing with Detelecine and Deinterlace (only built in options), but no luck.
I believe the source is NTSC.

Why did you think it was NTSC? It is not.

Code: Select all

scan: 10 previews, 720x576, 25.000 fps, autocrop = 0/4/0/0, aspect 4:3, PAR 16:15
Don't force this:

Code: Select all

+ frame rate: 50.000 fps -> constant 60.000 fps
Also, don't do this:

Code: Select all

+ Detelecine (pullup) ()
Obviously from your photo this source is interlaced. First thing, choose one of the '576' presets, you'll need one of the deinterlace/decomb filters. That may be a little trial and error.

That was the problem, it was NTSC imported as PAL. Thanks for the pointer!
