Trying to understand audio track behavior settings

Post by BaronVonJ »

Description of problem or question:

All I really want is to default to passthru all tracks of my language, with no encoding. I'm putting my rips in Plex so it's going to give the client the best compatible stream or transcode. I believe I understand track selection behavior, auto passthru, and passthru fallback. But I can't seem to figure out encoder settings.

Here are some illustrative screenshots of my attempts

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

MacOS High Sierra

Put an entry with "Auto passthru" and select all the auto passthru options. The encoder settings are for tracks that can't be passhtru and have to be reencoded.

Thank you! I don't know how I missed that in the list.
