NVidia GPU not offered for encoding

Post by razorback »

Description of problem or question:
On my Notebook I have the Intel 620 and a GeForce MX150 installed.
When selecting the Encoder in the "Video" Tab I get a list of eligible Encoders but only Intel QSV as Hardware accelerated.
There is no mention of the installed NVidia GPU.

Why so ?

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.0

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Win 10 Pro 1809

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Pretty sure the MX150 doesn't have the NVEnc hardware included in it as it's a low-end GPU.
You're better off using QuickSync.
