Will toggling preset will ripping switch to new preset in the middle of ripping?

Will toggling preset will ripping switch to new preset in the middle of ripping?

I accidentally selected on another preset in the middle of ripping? Does this mean that the file will be corrupted for that section of time it was on another preset or does the software lock down the preset when the ripping begins?
