convert HandBrake DVD to avi format ?

Hi, I would like convert my DVDs to avi format file
Can I convert DVD to avi file by attualy version of Handblake or must I use a old version of the softaware?
My Pc works whit Windows 7 32 bit

AVI is not a current or future output format for handbrake. It was removed years ago. I think you have to go back to the 0.9 series to get AVI output, but those versions are no longer supported.
