Best way to encode entire DVD to MKV?

Post by solomani »

Hi all,
I want to preserve the entire DVD - including menus - into an MKV. However Handbrake only shows individual chapters which I can rip individually. Is there a way to preserve the DVD contents entirely for viewing via iTunes?

Thanks in advance.

  1. HandBrake is unable to do this.
  2. While multiple titles and menus are provisionally part of the MKV spec, I've yet to see this implemented anywhere.
  3. iTunes does not support MKV.

Noted, thanks. My plan was to then use subler to convert to iTunes compatible. Thanks for the info.
