Could someone please shed some light on...

Why it takes so much longer to rip than it used to??

I have a Dual Core G5 1.8 with 1.25GB Ram os10.4 and plenty of HD space, it used to take about 1H40mins to do a rip now it HB tells me it'll take about 4Hours.
I don't think it takes that long but it does take much longer.

Could it be a problem with my Superdrive or just this version of HB.

Different settings? - For instance, are you using a preset?

Well the default settings changed in 0.9.0.

If you're that impatient and dead-set on low quality encodes, go ahead and use the Classic preset, which preserves the old defaults.
