Preview Files

Post by Northy »

Hey guys,

I was wondering where I can find the previews for HandBrake encodes that I am testing so that I can compare each preview. They don't seem to be in Application Support/HandBrake as before (well a long time ago when I had a working Mac, I have just come back to Mac :D).

So where are they? :)

Sorry if it is wrong section but it didn't seem like a technical problem so I posted here instead :)

I presume you're running OS X Lion?

The preview files are still where they've always been (~/Library/Application Support/HandBrake/Previews) but your Library folder is now hidden by default. Pasting the above path into the dialogue summoned with Shift-Command-G in the Finder will take you there.

I'm surprised they are not immediatly cleaned up. They usually are or should be.

Hrm, you're right. They're cleaned up during startup.
