Stripes in ripped Films

Post by Deep Volt »

First I want to say that Handbrake is a really good tool!

But I've got some seasons of a TV Show with the format 4:3 and after ripping them with Handbrake there are stripes in the Picture when people are moving around...
When I rip films in format 16:9 I dont have this problem!

The episods are over 22 minutes and I ripped them to max 500mb per episode using h.264 codec.

Can somebody tell me how to rip the DVD's without stripes? Maybe using better quality?

Sorry for my bad english :)

That means they're interlaced - you can turn on Handbrake's deinterlacing, but be warned, it decimates the vertical resolution of the picture.
