Ok, here's my question. I am aware of the issues in deinterlacing content with handbrake going to MP4 (btw, using CLI for windows). I encoded a clip in xvid avi instead and swear the panning looks better.
I guess my MAIN question, that I never considered - is the deinterlacing a factor of handbrake itself, or the codec?
Maybe dumb - Is there a different deinterlacer for xvid avi?
