Handbrake Newbie Needs Assistance
I hope someone can help! I'm a mac user, and a minister in my church. We would like to use a portion of a movie (we have a license to do so - no copyright infringement, honest!) for a sermon illustration, yet when I try to pull the scene into handbrake it is almost pixelated, only with boxes instead of dots. Sorry, I'm sure there's a technical name for this, but I just don't speak the language. I'm trying to go to MPeg4 format. Any suggestions out there?

You must decrypt your source first - make sure you have VLC 0.9.x+ in /Applications (not ~/Applications!) and make sure you have run it manually to view a DVD at least once to bypass Mac OS security restrictions.
