Is there much difference between "low" and "placebo"?

Is it worth compressing in "placebo" instead of "low"? or is there not much difference between the two options?

Are you aware of what "placebo" means?

If you're considering using "placebo", save the CPU time and just copy the original to the output.

Also "low" is an encoder speed preset, do you mean slow? or veryslow?

No there's not much difference in the results. Placebo is a fair bit slower.
