How to get 5.1 output from your Mac

This article by GBooker (creator of Perian) outlines the correct way to get AC3 passthough from your Mac computer into your Receiver.

Hope it helps everyone else as much as it helped me.

Moved back in to the Mac forums, seems to me this should be here as it has been a long standing question on how to use our ac3 tracks on a mac. And no one would know better than gbooker.

Why should only the atv owners have all of the fun ?
