Language settings when ripping mp4/h264

Post by MacFly »

Hello people

- i'm on ripping some of my dvds with 2 audio tracks
1st: french
2nd; english

french settings is not recognized as french but as undefined !
english settings is fine

nom it is a problem with iTunes because the default langage is not found (french for me) because it is set as undefined by handbrake !

- why can't i set a higher bitrate for AAC then 160 ?

thank you

The problem with non english Audio Tracks is known: http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4390

The bitrate limitation is due to the AAC Encoder HandBrake uses (FAAC), unfortunately there is no better open source AAC encoder....
